Lettering and calligraphy have been such a huge part of my life ever since I started exploring the art. I could not have done any of it without the help of fellow artists who have shared their knowledge and passion for the craft. So this time around, I'm giving back to the community that has given so much to me. One of the easiest ways I learned was through tracing.
So, ta-da! Free calligraphy practice sheets for everyone!
This is a free downloadable file that you can print for practicing calligraphy. The file contains basic brush strokes, letters of the alphabet and some of my favorite quotes from authors I have read. The worksheets are best used with a small waterbrush, round synthetic paint brush (sizes around 0 or 1) or brush pens with brush strand tips, but hard tip brush pens are fine as well. In my case, I used Tokyo Finds Pro Blend brush pens.
You can print and reprint as often as you like but please note that this is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. You are not allowed to sell or redistribute this file. If you have friends who are interested in the practice sheets, please direct them to my Instagram (@jveruditeartist) or to this blog post.
