On Sunday, 25th of February, 2018, I hosted a watercolor workshop at Figaro, Brickroad, Sta. Lucia Mall, in my lovely little town of Cainta.
Truth be told, I was a little scared about this venture. While I've somehow gotten used to talking in front of an audience (I still get jitters once in a while. Heh!), I wasn't sure if the location I picked was ideal for what I was offering. Most often workshops like this are held somewhere in Quezon City or Taguig City. But I always told myself I try something at least once, and so I went for it. And I surely didn't regret it.
This workshop was an even bigger success than my previous one. Maybe because now I actually know what I'm doing? LOL.
I put together a gallery of some of the photos I took that day.
I am honored to have these lovely ladies join me on this workshop Since this was a beginner's class, we started off with the basic watercolor techniques, then I showed them my process on how I create flowers. The last part of the class was to use all the techniques they learned for the day and create a masterpiece of their own.
I was very proud of what these lovely ladies achieved that day. And do I hope they all learned something during the workshop. I can’t thank them all enough for attending!
I want to give a huge thank you to Tokyo Finds for providing our art materials, to Craft Junkie Charm for the lovely dreamcatcher raffle prize, and to my friends Niegel and Gloricar for joining me and my students during the workshop. A huge shoutout to Gloricar for the doing an on-the-spot caricature artwork raffle prize. And thank you to the staff of Figaro Brickroad for taking care of us during the entire workshop. Very pleased the service they provided. Until the next workshop! ❤️
